Hello!

Tracey Scott Hypnotherapy
“Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.”

My name is Tracey Scott, in 2022 I qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist and NLP specialist. I’m a Norfolk-based practitioner operating our of my therapy room in Morley St Botolph near Wymondham.

I’m a dog lover. When visiting my therapy room you may be greeted by our Chihuahua x Corgi, Nelson! I’m also a mother of two boys, well, men (aged 29 and 31) and a wife to Chris who I’ve been with for 32 years (you get less for murder!).

I’m passionate about helping individuals overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, addictions and compulsions using a variety of hypnotherapy and NLP techniques.

My journey into hypnotherapy started out of curiosity. I’ve always enjoyed helping people in tough life situations, even if it’s just a cup of tea and a chat. Once I experienced hynotherapy and the benefits it can provide, I quickly knew this was something I wanted to pursue as a career.

What is Hypnotherapy?

For many, the mention of hypnotherapy conjures images of pendants being swung infront of your face or mysterious beings telling you to “look into my eyes”!

Whilst these techniques may still be used in some cultures, the modern model of hypnotherapy looks quite different to this.

Hypnotherapy is a natural therapy that concentrates the mind to allow shifts in self-limiting belief patterns.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful yet comfortable tool for change. I have found it to be very effective for those who have identified  traditional counselling methods as traumatic or intrusive.

Even just a single hypnotherapy session can be beneficial. Many clients find they leave their sessions with the “feel-good factor” which often permeates into other areas of their life such as their work, relationship or social life.

Over time though, the techniques used in our sessions can be an invaluable aid for personal development and mind management.

I had never had hypnotherapy before so didn’t know what to expect when I arrived for my session. I actually found the whole experience really lovely.  I’d had a few work problems and you totally calmed me, I began to sleep better and think more about what was happening instead of just getting stressed about it. I’m still sleeping well several weeks later, it’s made me look at my life from another perspective. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit to you even if they had no particular worries. It was an overall lovely, lovely experience and hope to see you again soon, even if it’s just to relax a little more.

I had two lovely relaxing sessions with Tracey to help me with sleeping problems. It was a lovely experience in very quiet and pleasant surroundings. Tracey has a very calming and gentle demeanour and I felt really safe and comfortable, which enabled me to relax and drift away. Thank you Tracey.

The very first week had a massive impact of my wellbeing. Just by confirming that the past and present is only in the mind it enabled me to let go of my worries and live in the present, which as you say is a gift. However, the biggest impact and gift that you gave me was teaching me to let go of my ‘hang-ups’ and feelings of ‘rejection’ at having been placed in care from birth. It is something that has always caused me to have very low self-esteem and confidence, not only in myself but in everything I do.
